About the Council

Launched in 2022, the University Council brings together in one group many of the most committed donors and volunteers that support Missouri Western. Council members enjoy access to special by-invitation-only events, presentations from President Elizabeth Kennedy and her Cabinet, and frequent e-newsletters. Participating in Council events is a great way to stay current with the latest student accomplishments, academic successes, new partnerships, and future strategic plans of the University.

Members will be in the know when speaking with fellow community members, business leaders, public officials, prospective students or their families, Griffon alumni, or potential donors. Council members are invited to participate in supporting the University’s legislative affairs and advocating within our region, encouraging community members to enroll at, invest in, and partner with the University.
