Jake Cunning ’16 may be Missouri Western’s biggest cheerleader, or, if not the biggest, he’s definitely in the top 10. Jake, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management, is currently the coordinator for learning and organizational development in Human Resources at Boehringer Ingelheim. He recently transferred to the company’s Atlanta office.
As a student, Jake worked as a student administrative assistant in the President’s Office, and he says he loved his experience at Missouri Western. As an alumnus, he was a member of the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Network that planned Legacy Day during Homecoming week this past fall. As part of that network, he helped Missouri Western raise more than $10,000.
Also last fall, Jake decided it was time to give back. He not only became a member of the Western League for Excellence Dean’s Circle, but also became a member of the Clock Tower Society by notifying the Foundation that it is in his estate plan. He made a commitment of more than $100,000 to the Missouri Western Foundation through a planned gift. Jake is the youngest member of the Clock Tower Society!
“We all want to leave the world a better place than we found it,” Jake said. “And what better place to give back than my alma mater that means so much to me. If you love Missouri Western as much as I do, it’s important to give back.”
