Dear Friends,
You have heard me say many times that undesignated gifts allow the Missouri Western Foundation the flexibility to immediately respond to the needs of the University as they arise by helping to provide programs, equipment, facilities and scholarships.
I wanted to ask you an important question. Have you ever thought your gifts also inspire our students to be future philanthropists?
Calen Hensley, an electronics engineering technology major, recently wrote this in a thank you note to a scholarship donor:
“Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back. I hope one day I will be able to help students in the future just as you have helped me. Thank you.”
And I’m sure Calen is not alone in feeling that way. Time after time, we hear how much our students appreciate the support they receive from donors like you.
